CK Dance Project is the leading dance studio in the Vaal Triangle (Gauteng, South-Africa) and the only SADTA affiliated studio for Latin-American, Ballroom, Hip-Hop and Freestyle in the area.
The CK Dance Project studio was established in 2003 by Chantel Kriel. She is the principal dance teacher, who herself gained dance champion status locally and represented South-Africa abroad. She is a top qualified SADTA adjudicator and frequently judges South African Championships. In short: She knows dancing and knows what is going down in dancing.
Most training are done in group classes at the Vanderbijlpark studio, ranging from primary school pupils to 40+ dancers. Dancers can either do the classes to compete in compititions, for SADTA level examinations or for social purposes only. Dancers are grouped together in classes, based on the dance styles and the dancers dance experience and qualifications. All the adult classes are normally after hours (after 17:00), while the classes for younger kids are after school. All classes follow school terms and each style has one class per week. Latin-American, Ballroom, Hip-Hop and Freestyle are offered on this basis
